Getting to Gdansk
There are direct connections to Gdansk (GDN) from Warsaw (Warszawa; WAW), Munich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and London.
One way to fly to Poland is through the low cost airlines such as EasyJet, Ryanair and Wizzair. All these airlines fly through the smaller London airports like Stansted and Luton. However if you are flying into one of the busier London airports like Heathrow the transfer from one airport to another can be challenging. We would recommend if possible to make your transfer to Poland from Heathrow or Gatwick. However this is probably a more expensive option.
For those of you flying back to the US, what we tend to do is leave Poland a day before we are due to fly back to the US. We do this because the US flights usually leave early in the morning.

Getting to Elblag
You will have 3 options: 1) You can either rent a car; 2) take the
train, or 3) alternatively, if there are enough guests coming into
Gdansk around the same time on Friday afternoon (August 10th 2007) we
will arrange for a private bus to come and collect you.
1. Train
You
can take a train from Gdansk Wrzeszcz to Elblag. It is a very scenic
trip and it costs only around $10 or 5.5 pounds!! Make sure you buy a
first class ticket and do not accept food or drink from anyone :) (that
is what the warnings say on the train) It takes about 1 and a half
hours to get to Elblag (excluding a taxi drive to the train station).

2. Renting a car
This
is an expensive option. Many of the main roads/highways are 2 lane so
overtaking can be hazardous. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to get to
Elblag from the Gdansk airport.
3. Private transportation
Please provide your flight details.
